APPROACH
For Verified, the director wanted the film to lean into the humor and absurdity of social media validation while still making room for the story's more serious themes.
To support that, we built a brighter look with softer contrast and more controlled saturation. The film opens with a cooler palette that complements its lighter tone and the protagonist's preoccupation with her online world.

As the story moves through its more dramatic moments at home, the grade follows that shift. A faint green cast is introduced within the cooler tones as the protagonist’s pursuit of validation begins to unravel. As the film resolves, the palette gradually warms, allowing the visual treatment to follow the emotional arc.
