APPROACH

The visual direction centered on a balanced, gently warm palette that reflected the film's focus on children while remaining grounded and natural. Each scene was developed around that foundation, with color, contrast, and exposure established on a primary shot before the surrounding coverage was matched to it.

INTERVIEWS

As the core of the film, the interviews were the primary focus of the grade. The goal was a balanced, natural treatment with refined skin tones and controlled highlights that kept the attention on the stories being told. Care was taken to preserve natural skin tone across different complexions while maintaining consistency between interview setups.
