APPROACH
The story is told through the protagonist’s perspective as he reflects on the hardships faced by people in rural Kashmir and his own efforts to bring about change. This became the foundation for the grade.
Contrast was kept low, saturation restrained, and interiors darker where needed, while brighter exteriors were softened to avoid idealizing the environment.

The palette leans cool, with warmth held back for skin tones and highlights, keeping the people at the center of the story.
In the end, the grade was meant to acknowledge the hardship while still holding onto the humanity and resilience that drive the film.
